This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed via https://goodstartfamilyshop.com/. This website and its associated fulfilment services are operated by The Buckner Group Pty Ltd (ACN 009 739 422) trading as Buckner Brand Management, on behalf of Goodstart Early Learning.

At Goodstart Early Learning, we aim to deliver your orders quickly, efficiently, and in perfect condition. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver your purchases, as well as your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to addresses within Australia. Any future expansion of our delivery regions will be updated on this page.
3. Delivery Timeframes
We work with trusted shipping partners to deliver orders within the following estimated timeframes:
- Metropolitan areas: 3–7 business days
- Regional areas: 5–10 business days
- Remote areas: 10–14 business days
Delivery timeframes are estimates only. While we make every effort to meet these timeframes, unexpected delays may occur. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, transport disruptions, or carrier issues. You will be notified of any significant delay as soon as possible.
4. Consumer Rights Under Australian Law
All deliveries will be made within a reasonable time. If your order is not delivered within the estimated timeframe, you are entitled to request a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, including a refund for undelivered goods. You may also be entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from late delivery.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are automatically calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete payment. All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
6. Order Processing and Dispatch
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive an email containing tracking details once your order has been dispatched. Delivery times are counted from the date of dispatch.
7. Out-of-Stock or Split Shipments
If an item in your order becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss options. You may choose to wait for restock, receive a partial shipment, or obtain a refund for unavailable items.
8. Delivery Responsibility and Risk
Risk in goods passes to you once delivery is completed. For deliveries requiring a signature, this is when the parcel is signed for. For ‘Authority to Leave’ deliveries, it is when the carrier confirms delivery. If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive, please contact us immediately at goodstart@buckner.com.au so we can work with the carrier to arrange a replacement or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.
9. Authority to Leave
By selecting 'Authority to Leave' at checkout, you give permission for the carrier to leave the parcel at the specified address without requiring a signature. Once delivery is confirmed by the carrier, the parcel will be considered delivered. We recommend selecting a delivery address where someone is available to receive the parcel. We cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen parcels after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.
10. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate when placing an order. If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the parcel is returned to us, we will issue a refund for the product cost only (excluding delivery fees). Re-delivery will incur an additional shipping charge. This policy does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Failed Deliveries and Re-Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address or absence at the delivery location, your parcel may be held at a collection point for a limited time. If it is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery or refund as applicable.
